Jalapeno Smoked Vegan Cheddar

It's all about that plant-based creativity! I love this cheese on crackers, in my wraps, in veggie burger, in salad, or on pizza! It's such a great anti-inflammatory alternative treat to dairy. I haven;t managed to keep it for more then 3 days, that how good it is!

🌿 recipe

  • .1 cup of cashew

  • 1/2 cup of carrots

  • 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast

  • 1 tsp of sliquid smoke

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 squeezed lemon

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 tsp of tumeric

  • 2 tbsp agar agar powder

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 1/2 cups of water

  • 2 1/2 tsp of Salt

  • 1 tsp of Pepper

To create this awesome snack, put all of the ingredients above (except the agar agar powder) into a high speed blender, with only half of the water, blend till creamy

In a small pot, but the rest of the water with the agar agar and boil the mixture while stirring for few minutes. Do not let it crumb.

After few minutes, put the water mixed with the agar agar in the blender and mix once more

Put the mixture into a mold and cover the top of the cheese with herbs of your choice. I chose thyme this time. Keep in fridge for 3 to 5 hours, then indulge
